  • Rosemont Action Plan

    The Rosemont neighborhood of Charleston, SC, is finalizing its community Action Plan as part of an environmental justice initiative supported by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation through EJ Strong.

    Sciences for Sustainable Earth (S4SE) are coordinating a community meeting to gather input and define the final components of the Rosemont Action Plan.

  • Tour de Coast Global Sustainability Survey

    Co-designed with the Future Earth Coasts and administered by the S4SE, theTour de Coasts survey engaged a diverse and international audience, including researchers, policymakers, and community representatives to identify critical gaps, challenges, and solutions in coastal sustainability.

    More than 200 participants from 70+ countries participated in the survey, providing insights from diverse coastal regions, ecosystems, and socio-economic contexts. These findings highlight the impacts of climate change, pollution, habitat degradation, and resource inequities, as well as the community-driven strategies fostering resilience and sustainability.
